Our purpose is to serve our neighborhood by offering news, information, community events and updates on drilling activities in our area. Please see our Area Map page to see if you are within our boundaries, and if so, please bookmark us and visit often. This is YOUR community website! • LATEST GAS LEASE NEWS!!!
I know that everyone is wondering what is going on as we approach our 3 yr anniversary. Well, I received a call from Chesapeake this weekend. They wanted to share with the neighborhood how things are going, and what to expect.
I have uploaded the Division Order Map to the VFNA website. That map will tell you whom you are grouped with. Information can be found in community blog section of website. just click on the title and the blog will open up. Pictures will also be pop up when opening the blog up.
Here’s what I was told:
ANYONE NEEDING TO SIGN A LEASE SHOULD CALL DADRICK CLAY AT CHESAPEAKE. HIS NUMBER IS 817-507-1792 He will take your lease if you haven't signed one.
The neighborhood has been divided in 3. Landing South pool, Villages of Fairfield pool, and Cornerstone North pool. Please see map outlining the different pooling areas!
Please go to the Community Blog section to see the picture of the different well bores. They are named accordingly.
For the VFNA area The drilling Rig will be moving in soon and is scheduled to begin drilling well # 3H for the VFNA area on Jan. 30 2011. The rig will come done and then wells 1H and 2H will be drilled in April. Total number of wells for the VFNA pool is 5.
For the Cornerstone North area, Chesapeake Lawyers and Veterans affairs lawyers are working to clear up 1 property. Apparently the VA accidently reserved the mineral rights of a particular property, when they did not mean too.
The Rig will be moving in this month to drill well # 5H. Cornerstone North area will have a total of 6 wells in the pool
Cornerstone South is basically the North Cravens neighborhood and they will have 3 wells in that group.
I anticipate having a neighborhood meeting at the school next month to bring everyone up to date and explain what the next steps are.
Some have informed me of letter from companies offering to buy your mineral rights. I personally would be very cautious on what they say. All I can say is on this is you have to do what is right for you and your family. I would wonder if those companies will pay you what you’ll make over the course of the wells life (30-40 yrs) Be smart!! Your monthly royalties will add up over time. $20 over 30 years yields approx. $7500 over 30 years. So your monthly amounts may seem small but over time that small amount adds up.
Pipelines are in for this site and production will begin after the wells are Fraced. That means this should be the year we all start getting royalties starting.
Royalties and Division Orders FAQ What are division orders? Division orders are documents that verify a mineral owner's interest in a producing well and are sent out after a well has begun producing. The division orders serve as a communication between the mineral owner and natural gas operator verifying: • Legal description of producing property • Mineral owner net revenue interest in the producing well • Mineral owner Tax ID Number (usually Social Security Number) • Legal agreements (terms of lease) For more information or a tutorial on division orders, see the American Royalty Council's website.
How do I report a change in my address? Please notify Chesapeake promptly of any change in your mailing address. This notice must be in writing with your signature or the signature of your appointed agent. Please include your owner number, old address and new address, including the zip code. For your protection, address changes will not be accepted by telephone. Mail changes to our Division Order Department.
